What to Submit
To set up tax-exempt purchasing on your trade account, we need:
- Completed exemption form (below) with your business details
- Tax ID or EIN
- State-issued exemption certificate (resale permit, ag exemption, government exemption letter, etc.)
Have your certificate ready as a PDF, JPG, or PNG file before starting the form. Most states let you download a copy from your tax authority’s website.
How It Works
Fill out the form below and upload your exemption certificate. You can also email it directly to info@vfidiesel.com.
Our team reviews your certificate, verifies it with the issuing state, and applies the exemption to your account. This typically takes 1–2 business days.
Once approved, qualifying purchases through our online shop, by phone, or by email are automatically tax-exempt. No need to re-submit paperwork on each order.

Multi-State Purchases
If your business operates in multiple states, you may need to submit a certificate for each state where you claim exemption. California resale permits are accepted for all purchases shipped to California addresses. For out-of-state shipments, provide the exemption certificate for the destination state.
Tax-exempt certificates must be current and valid. Expired certificates will need to be renewed before we can continue processing tax-free orders. We may periodically request updated documentation to maintain compliance with state tax regulations.
