Have a 1990 Caterpillar 3406B in an old Kenworth log truck. Needed my fuel injection pump inspected and rebuilt. Spent several casual months trying to source a reputable place locally within reasonable driving distance to my house. Found VFI and spoke to David. His confidence in our phone conversations made me feel comfortable enough to drive my Injection pump to there place of business and talk with them again in person, I was prepared to walk away with my pump if I didn't feel comfortable with this place. When I saw the shop and how clean everything was and not a bunch of crap laying all over and dirty that made me feel good, and then when I spoke with David he inspired confidence and answered all of my questions regarding my pump. This was a huge expense and didn't want just anybody tearing into this thing. I also requested that they don't paint the pump and leave it raw patina after bead blasting and cleaning and after rebuild, ( I was gonna do this myself with OEM CAT paint) assembly and bench test/calibration on there dyno. This was July 2023 I dropped off and picked up several weeks later, fast forward to today April 2024 just got my motor back together and started it up, ran great couldn't be happier to have found David and VFI.
