This is a new, genuine Kubota engine control unit (ECU) sub-assembly, part number 1H043-59092. Kubota’s parts description reads “ECU SUB ASSY 03 CPG”. Kubota sells several ECU sub-assemblies that differ by the code at the end of that description, such as 03 CTP and 03 TOR, and each one is its own part number.

An ECU is usually replaced after water damage, a burned driver circuit or a failed connector, once wiring, grounds, sensors and battery voltage have been ruled out. Because the ECU carries the engine’s control calibration, order by the number on your old ECU’s label, not by engine model alone.
