Bosch F00R001205 is the new high-pressure fuel rail for the 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7 (VIN code 1). The LB7 uses the same rail on both banks, so this one part fits the left or the right side, and an engine takes two. It replaces GM 97208075 and ACDelco 217-1442, and it supersedes the older Bosch number F00R000351. It fits Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 trucks with the LB7.

This is a bare rail: four threaded high-pressure ports on the side, a threaded line fitting on one end and three mounting ears. On the LB7 the rail pressure sensor and the pressure relief valve sit on the fuel junction block (the function block), not on the rails. Shops replace the rails when one leaks, or during an injector job after contamination, so debris left in an old rail does not reach the new injectors.

Confirm Fitment Before You Order

This rail is for the LB7 only. A 2004 truck can be an LB7 (8th VIN digit 1) or an LLY (8th VIN digit 2), and the LLY takes different rails (Bosch F00R001505 left, F00R001512 right). Send us the VIN or the number off your old rail and we will confirm it. Call 530-668-0818 and we will confirm the exact match at no charge before anything ships.

Fits / Applications

  • 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500, 6.6L Duramax LB7
  • 2001-2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500, 6.6L Duramax LB7
  • Fits the left bank or the right bank, two per engine
  • Not for 2004.5-2005 LLY or any later Duramax

Order two if you are doing both banks. Keep every port covered until its line goes on. The rail pressure sensor and relief valve stay on the junction block, so nothing has to move over from the old rail. Use the GM service procedure and torque values for the line nuts.

Part Numbers & Cross Reference

GM 97208075  ·  ACDelco 217-1442  ·  Bosch (superseded) F00R000351  ·  Bosch (as printed) F 00R 001 205

Cross-reference numbers can change with engine serial, build year and emissions tier, so treat this list as a starting point. Send us your engine serial number and we will confirm the exact match against your build before anything ships. That check is free and takes a few minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bosch F00R001205 a left or a right rail?

Either. The LB7 uses the same rail on both banks, so an engine needs two of this part number.

What numbers does it replace, and is it new?

It replaces GM 97208075 and ACDelco 217-1442, and it supersedes the older Bosch number F00R000351. It is a new Bosch rail, not remanufactured, so there is no core to send back.

Does it come with a pressure sensor or a relief valve?

No. On the LB7 the rail pressure sensor and the pressure relief valve are on the fuel junction block, not on the rails, so the rail is bare.

Will it fit a 2004.5 or 2005 LLY?

No. The LLY uses a different rail on each side, Bosch F00R001505 on the left and F00R001512 on the right. On a 2004 truck check the 8th digit of the VIN (1 is the LB7), or call 530-668-0818 and we will check it.
