This is the Bosch HP020X, a HEUI high-pressure oil pump remanufactured by Bosch, the original equipment maker of this pump. It is the 6.5 cc pump, the middle of three sizes used on the International inline six: it covers the 1994 to 1999 I530E and the 2000 to 2003 DT466, DT530 and HT530 from 230 hp (HT) to 300 hp. It replaces Navistar 1842722C91, 1830177C92 and 1830177C91. The mounting gasket is included.

These engines were built with three pump sizes, and the size follows the horsepower rating: 5.3 cc for 175 to 230 hp (Bosch HP021X), 6.5 cc for 230 hp (HT) to 300 hp (this pump), and 7.0 cc for 300 to 330 hp (Bosch HP022X). Order by the engine serial number and the Navistar number on the old pump. A worn pump shows up as a long crank, a no-start or low power with low injection control pressure. Check the IPR valve, the high-pressure hose, the injector O-rings and the oil level and condition before you replace the pump.

Use the mounting gasket supplied. HEUI injectors run on engine oil, so change the oil and filter when you fit the pump, and check the IPR valve and the high-pressure hose for leaks before the first start.
