Catalogs list it for every 2011 to 2014 Super Duty with the 6.7L (F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550, pickup or chassis cab) and for the 2015 and 2016 chassis cabs (F-350, F-450 and F-550). It replaces Ford BC3Z-9A543-A and BC3Z-9A543-B and the earlier Bosch numbers 0445010622, 0445010649 and 0445010844. The Bosch remanufactured version of the same pump is 0986437422.

2015 and 2016 pickups are listed with a different pump, Bosch 0445010810, so check the body before you order for one of those years. Low rail pressure, a hard start, a stall under load or metal in the fuel filters point at the high-pressure pump. When a CP4 comes apart it sends metal through the rails, lines and injectors, so find out how far the damage went before you fit a pump. A pump fitted to a contaminated system does not last.

If the old pump failed, look for metal in the fuel filters before you fit this one. A failed CP4 sends debris into the rails, lines, injectors and tank, and those parts have to be dealt with too. Gaskets and seals for the job come in a separate pump install kit. Change the fuel filters and start with clean fuel.
