Find out why the old turbo failed before you fit this one. Change the engine oil and filter, make sure the oil feed line is clean and the drain is clear, and check the air cleaner and intake pipe for dirt or loose debris. Use new gaskets at the exhaust manifold, the outlet flange and the oil connections, with no sealant on the oil side. Fill the oil inlet with clean engine oil, crank until oil pressure comes up, then let the engine idle for a few minutes before you load it.
