This is a new, genuine Kubota engine stop solenoid assembly, part number 1G772-60014. It is the 12 V stop solenoid for Kubota’s 07 Series direct-injection diesels with a mechanical injection pump. Kubota’s own engine parts lists show it on the V2607-DI-T and the V3307-DI-T, and on the V2607-DI in the KX057-4. Kubota’s machine parts lists carry it on M5040, M6040 and M7040 tractors, the KX057-4, KX080-3T and U55 excavators and the SVL75 and SVL75C track loaders. It replaces 1G772-60012 and 1G772-60013.

A failed stop solenoid shows up as an engine that will not start, will not keep running or will not shut off, depending on how the machine is wired. Check the fuse, the wiring, the connector and the stop lever before you replace it. The later common-rail 07 Series engines are a different build: Kubota’s parts list for the common-rail V3307 shows no stop solenoid at all.

Kubota’s parts lists show the O-ring, 04814-06310, and the hex socket head screws, 01311-10614, as separate parts in the stop solenoid group. Fit a new O-ring, and check that the stop lever moves freely before you bolt the new solenoid on. If the old coil burned out, find the cause first.

Yes for the SVL75 and SVL75C, which Kubota’s parts lists show with this solenoid. The later SVL75-2 is a different machine and is not on those lists, so call 530-668-0818 with your serial number if you are not sure which you have.

What numbers does the 1G772-60014 replace?

Kubota 1G772-60012 and 1G772-60013. Kubota’s parts lists show all three at the same position, with 1G772-60014 as the latest.

Is it the same as the 1A021-60017 stop solenoid?

No. 1A021-60017 is the stop solenoid for Kubota 03 Series engines such as the V2203 and V2403. The V2607-DI and V3307-DI take 1G772-60014.
