This is a new, genuine Kubota EGR valve assembly, part number 1J706-62702. Kubota’s parts description reads VALVE,ASSY(EGR): the complete valve. It is for the common-rail V2607, the 2.6 liter four-cylinder, and Kubota dealer parts catalogs list it on KX057-4 and KX057-5 excavators, U55-4 and U55-5 excavators and R530 and R540 wheel loaders.

On the KX057-4, U55-4 and R530, Kubota’s parts list splits the EGR valve by engine serial number, and early engines are listed with a different valve, 1J706-62700. EGR valves are replaced when they stick from soot or the actuator fails. Look for EGR fault codes, rough idle, black smoke, low power or a derate, and check the connector, the wiring and the EGR cooler first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the 1J706-62702 fit my Kubota KX057-4 or KX057-5?

Kubota dealer parts catalogs list it on both. On the KX057-4, early engines are listed with a different valve, 1J706-62700, so call 530-668-0818 with your engine serial number before you order.

Does it fit the U55-4, U55-5, R530 and R540?

All four are in Kubota’s list for this valve. The U55-4 and R530 have the same engine serial split as the KX057-4, so send us the engine serial number.

Does it replace 1J706-62700?

We could not confirm that. Kubota’s parts list shows 1J706-62700 on early engines and 1J706-62702 on later ones, so we check your engine serial number first.

Is it new or remanufactured?

New, genuine Kubota. It is the complete EGR valve assembly, and the gasket is a separate part number.
