This is a new, genuine Kubota EGR valve assembly, part number 1J805-62705. Kubota’s parts description reads VALVE,ASSY(EGR): the complete valve. It replaces the earlier Kubota number 1J805-62704, so it is the right part when your old valve or your engine’s parts list shows either number.

Kubota EGR valves look alike from one engine to the next and are not the same part, so this one is ordered by number, not by looks. As one example, Kubota’s parts list for the KX040-4 excavator calls for a different valve, 1J813-62703. EGR valves are replaced for sticking, soot build-up or actuator faults that set EGR codes. Check the connector, the wiring and the EGR passages before you order.

Specifications

Fits / Applications

• Kubota diesel engines whose parts list or old valve calls for 1J805-62705 or 1J805-62704
• Not the EGR valve Kubota lists for the KX040-4, which is 1J813-62703
• Confirm by engine model, engine serial number and the number on the old valve

Fit a new EGR valve gasket, ordered from the parts list for your engine serial number. Clean the mating faces, clear soot from the EGR passage, check the connector and harness, then clear stored codes after the repair.

Part Numbers & Cross Reference

Kubota 1J805-62705  ·  Kubota (superseded) 1J805-62704

Cross-reference numbers can change with engine serial, build year and emissions tier, so treat this list as a starting point. Send us your engine serial number and we will confirm the exact match against your build before anything ships. That check is free and takes a few minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What numbers does the 1J805-62705 replace?

It replaces Kubota 1J805-62704. If your old valve carries that number, this is the current part.

Will it fit my Kubota KX040-4?

Not by Kubota’s parts list. The KX040-4 EGR valve is listed as 1J813-62703. Call 530-668-0818 with your engine serial number and we will check the right valve.

Which engines take this valve?

We match this valve by number, not by engine name. Send us the engine model and spec from the engine label, the engine serial number and the number on your old valve, and we will check it against the Kubota parts list.

Is it new or remanufactured?

New, genuine Kubota. It is the complete EGR valve assembly.
