2007-2010 International MaxxForce 9 & 10 16cc High-Pressure Oil Pump | Alliant Power AP63697 Remanufactured
This is the Alliant Power AP63697, a 16cc high-pressure oil pump (HPOP) remanufactured by Alliant Power for the 2007 to 2010 International / Navistar MaxxForce 9 and MaxxForce 10, engine serial numbers 3,040,001 through 3,300,000. It replaces Navistar 1882259C93, 1832094C92, 1832095C2, 1879745C93 and 1879747C2, and it took over from the earlier Alliant Power number AP63687. It comes with a new injection pressure regulator (IPR) valve, Alliant Power AP63513, and the fuel supply pump.
The injectors on these engines are fired by high-pressure oil, and this pump makes that pressure. When it wears, the engine cranks long, will not restart hot, stalls, or sets low injection control pressure (ICP) faults. Rule out oil leaks at the hose, the rail and the injector seals first. This is the 16cc pump for the MaxxForce 9 and MaxxForce 10. The MaxxForce DT takes the 12cc pump, AP63696.

- Not for engine serial 3,000,001 to 3,040,000. Those take the kit with the updated hose and fitting, AP63695.
- Not for engines from serial 3,300,001 (2010 and later) or for 2004 to 2006 DT570 and HT570 engines. Those take other pumps.
The pump comes with a new IPR valve and the fuel supply pump. It runs on engine oil, so fit it with clean oil and a new oil filter. Engines below serial 3,040,001 also need the updated high-pressure hose and fitting, which are not part of this pump.
