This is the Alliant Power AP64901, a piezo common-rail fuel injector remanufactured by Alliant Power for the International MaxxForce 7 (6.4L V8) built to 2010 emissions, model years 2010 to 2014, engine serial number 5,300,002 and up. It replaces Navistar 1883110C1, 1883111C92 and 1899239C92, and Navistar remanufactured numbers 5010888R91 and 5010889R91. Each injector comes with an injection line. A refundable core applies.

The MaxxForce 7 changed injectors at the 2010 emissions step. Earlier engines, with serial numbers below 5,300,002, take Alliant Power AP64900, the injector shared with the 2008 to 2010 Ford 6.4L Power Stroke, and the two are not the same part. Rough idle, a miss, hard starting, white or black smoke and fuel dilution in the oil are the usual reasons these injectors come out. Piezo injectors do not tolerate dirty fuel or water, so change the fuel filters and check supply pressure when you fit them.

Fit the injection line supplied with each injector rather than reusing the old one. Change the fuel filters and keep everything clean while the system is open: piezo injectors are easily damaged by dirt and water.
