Alliant Power DTech DT660022 is a new injector, return line and valve cover gasket kit for the GM 6.6L Duramax LB7. The maker lists it for 2001 to 2004 Chevrolet and GMC pickups and 2003 to 2004 C4500 and C5500 trucks with the LB7. Alliant names the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 and C5500 and GMC TopKick C5500.

Each kit holds four DT660019 injector installation kits (two external o-rings and one nozzle washer each), one DT660020 fuel return line kit (four banjo washers and one return line connection banjo washer) and one lower rocker arm cover gasket. That covers four injectors, so a full engine takes two kits.

How is DT660022 different from DT660021 and DT660026?

DT660021 has the same injector seals and return line washers without the gasket. DT660026 has everything in DT660022 plus twelve noise isolator grommets and four injection line oil seals.

Does DT660022 fit a 2004.5 or later Duramax?

No. The maker lists it for the LB7 only. 2004 trucks came with the LB7 or the LLY. GM’s VIN engine code is 1 for the LB7 and 2 for the LLY.
