A new Delphi DP200 rotary injection pump, Delphi part number 8923A560W. John Deere lists it as RE505927. It fits the John Deere 4045T, the 4.5 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel, in the build Delphi calls John Deere Dubuque 4045T2. It replaces the earlier John Deere RE64133 pump (Delphi 8920A200W series).

Common reasons to replace a DP200: hard starting, low power or smoke from worn internals, leaks at the seals, or damage from water or dirt in the fuel. This is a new pump, not a rebuild. Match the numbers on your pump plate before you order, because other 4045T DP200 pumps carry different part numbers and settings.

John Deere DP200 pumps are housing timed (a mark on the pump flange lines up with a mark on the engine front plate), not lock timed like Perkins DP200 pumps. Follow the John Deere manual for your engine. Fit a new O-ring on the pump flange, then prime the fuel system and bleed air at the injector lines before start-up. Fit new fuel filters, and clean the tank if the old pump failed from water or dirt.
