This is a new Delphi DP200-series rotary fuel injection pump, Delphi 8925A380W, New Holland part 87801042. Some catalogs and the New Holland TS manual call it a DP203. It crosses to the older Delphi 8920A360W. It fits the Ford / New Holland Genesis BSD 450T, a 5.0 L four-cylinder turbo diesel, in the 7740 and TS110 tractors and the LB110 backhoe loader. Catalogs also list it for the TB110 tractor, the LB90, LB115 and LB115B backhoe loaders and the HW320 windrower.

This pump is lock timed, but the lock position is not top dead center. New Holland and catalog data put it at about 28 to 29 degrees BTDC. Earlier 7740s and some other models were built with a Lucas CAV DPS pump, which is a different pump. Common reasons to replace a DP200 are hard starting, low power, smoke, leaks and wear from water or dirt in the fuel.

Keep the pump locked until it is on the engine. Set the engine to the pump timing position in the New Holland service manual, not to top dead center. The TS100/TS110 manual lists a 28 degree BTDC engine position and a 29 degree locking bolt check for the DP203. Fit the pump and gear, then release the locking bolt as the manual describes. If the old pump failed from water or dirt, flush the tank and lines and fit new filters before start-up.
