This is the Alliant Power AP63802AC, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the AC code International T444E 7.3L. The AC code is the High Output injector: it went into 1994 to 1996 T444E engines rated 210 hp (High Torque) and 230 hp. It is a single-shot injector and it replaces Navistar 1822890C1, 1824455C94, 1824456C96, 1824472C1, 1824473C2 and 1824474C2. The seals needed for installation come with it. Ford did not use the AC code in the 7.3L Power Stroke.

Hard starting, a miss that does not clear with a new fuel filter, white smoke on a cold start, low power under load or a cylinder contribution fault all point at a tired injector. HEUI injectors are fired by engine oil pressure, so low or dirty oil and a weak high-pressure oil system cause the same complaints. Rule those out before you replace a set. The engine takes eight injectors.
