This is a new, genuine Kubota 1G939-60012 solenoid assembly. Kubota parts sellers describe it as a 12 V fuel solenoid actuator for 03 series engines, and it replaces the earlier 1G939-60010. Genuine-parts dealers list it as a stop solenoid for the V2203, and parts sellers cross the 1G939-60010 to V2203 and D1503 engines.

Kubota’s own tractors and excavators with 03 series engines normally use the 1A021-60017 stop solenoid, not this one. Order this part by the number on your old solenoid or by your engine serial number, not by engine model alone. A failing fuel solenoid usually shows up as an engine that cranks but will not start, starts and then dies, or will not shut off.

Specifications

Fits / Applications

• Kubota V2203 engines (select builds; confirm by old part number)
• Kubota D1503 engines (select builds; confirm by old part number)

Compare the old and new solenoid side by side before you install: mounting, plunger and connector must match. Check the fuse, wiring and stop linkage first, and find the cause if the old coil burned out.

Part Numbers & Cross Reference

Cross-reference numbers can change with engine serial, build year and emissions tier, so treat this list as a starting point. Send us your engine serial number and we will confirm the exact match against your build before anything ships. That check is free and takes a few minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Kubota 1G939-60012 fit my V2203 or D1503?

It is listed for select V2203 and D1503 builds, not every one. Kubota used several different solenoids on 03 series engines, so order by the number on your old solenoid or by engine serial number, not by engine model alone.

Does 1G939-60012 replace 1G939-60010?

Yes. 1G939-60012 is the 12 V fuel solenoid actuator that replaces the earlier 1G939-60010.

Is 1G939-60012 the stop solenoid used on Kubota tractors and excavators?

Usually not. Kubota’s own tractors and excavators with 03 series engines normally use the 1A021-60017 stop solenoid. Call 530-668-0818 with the number on your old solenoid, the engine model and serial number, or the equipment maker’s part number, and we will confirm before anything ships.

What should I compare before installing 1G939-60012?

Set the old and new solenoid side by side: mounting, plunger and connector must match. Check the fuse, wiring and stop linkage first, and find the cause if the old coil burned out.
