This is a new, genuine Kubota intake air flow sensor, part number 1J520-10700. It mounts in the intake pipe after the air cleaner and reports air flow to the engine ECU. It fits Kubota Tier 4 D1803, V2403, V2607 and V3307 diesel engines. Kubota machines that use it include the KX040-4, KX057-4 and KX080-4 excavators, U48-5 and U55-4 excavators, SSV65 and SSV75 skid steers, SVL65-2, SVL75-2, SVL90-2, SVL95-2S and SVL97-2 track loaders, and the L3301, L3560 and L3901 tractors.

The ECU uses the air flow reading to manage fueling and emissions controls. A dirty or failed sensor can cause low power, smoke, rough running and air flow fault codes. Check for a dirty air filter or an intake leak after the sensor before you replace it.
