This is a new, genuine Kubota dynamo assembly, part number 15261-64010. Kubota dealer catalogs list it for one machine, the B7100D-P tractor, in the engine dynamo group. Dynamo is Kubota’s name for the small charging unit on its compact engines, and Kubota’s parts description for this one reads “DYNAMO ASSY”. The same parts list shows a second dynamo, 15372-64010, in the same position, so order by the number on your old dynamo.

A dynamo is replaced when the battery will not stay charged, the charge lamp stays on with the engine running, or the bearing is rough or noisy. Check the belt, the plug, the wiring and the regulator in the charging circuit first, because any of them can cause the same no-charge complaint.
