It is also Kubota’s replacement for 16271-60012 and 16271-60010, the solenoid on BX23D, BX2660D and BX2670 tractors, ZD28, ZD326 and ZD331 mowers, F2400, FZ2100 and FZ2400 front mowers, the old type R310 wheel loader and KX41-2, KX41H, KX61-2, KX71 and KX91-2 excavators. Kubota’s small diesels were built with more than one stop solenoid, and they are separate parts. Kubota’s industrial engine parts lists for the D1005, D1105, D1305 and V1505 show 17208-60016, which is also the solenoid on the KX71-3S, KX030-4, U25S and U27-4 excavators, and the B3350, F3990 and ZD1511 take 1E366-60012. This 16271-60013 is the one on the machines named above. A failed stop solenoid shows up as an engine that will not start, will not keep running or will not shut off, depending on how the machine is wired. Check the fuse, the wiring, the connector and the stop lever before you replace it.

Kubota’s parts lists show the mounting hardware as separate parts: hex socket head bolt 01311-10612 on the BX2680 and ZD1211, and on older machines such as the KX41-2 and KX91-2 a solenoid cover gasket, 16299-60150. Compare the connector and the plunger of the new solenoid with the old one before you fit it. If the old coil burned out, find the cause first: a sticking stop lever, a bad relay or damaged wiring will take out the new one too.
