This is a new, genuine Kubota water pump assembly, part number 16241-73037. Kubota engine dealers list it for the D905 and D1105 three-cylinder diesels and the V1505 four-cylinder diesel. Kubota dealer parts catalogs show it on the F2400 front mower, the KX71 excavator and the old type R310 wheel loader. It replaces 16241-73034 and 16241-73030.

Kubota sells two other water pumps for these engines, 16251-73037 and 16259-73036, and this is not the same part. Kubota’s parts description gives this pump a 2 1/4 inch impeller and the other two a 2.75 inch impeller. This pump takes gasket 16261-73430, a separate part number, and the other two take 16239-73430. Replace the pump when coolant weeps from the drain hole, the shaft bearing is rough or loose, or the engine runs hot with a good thermostat, radiator and fan belt.
