This is a new, genuine Kubota starter motor, part number EG641-63010. It is a 12 V WG Series starter, listed for the Kubota WG752, a three-cylinder spark-ignition engine built for gasoline or gasoline/LPG. It is also Kubota’s replacement for starters 15852-63010 and 15852-63014, used on Kubota G2000, G2460G, G3200, G4200 and G5200H garden tractors.

Replace a starter when it clicks but will not turn, cranks slowly on a good battery, or grinds on engagement. On garden tractors, check the battery, cables, grounds and the safety interlock circuit first, since they cause many no-crank calls.

Disconnect the battery before removal. Clean the mounting face and the ground path, check the flywheel ring gear for worn or chipped teeth, and tighten the mounting bolts to Kubota’s torque spec.
