The same 1J808 series carries that engine’s EGR valve, 1J808-62703, and its injector, 1J808-53052.

An EGR cooler is replaced when it leaks coolant into the exhaust side or plugs with soot. Look for coolant loss with no outside leak, white smoke or steam on start-up, wet soot at the EGR valve and EGR flow faults. Pressure test the cooling system and check the EGR valve and pipes first. Other V2403 common-rail builds use a different cooler, 1J803-71410, so match the number.

Fit a new EGR cooler gasket. Kubota lists two for this engine, 1J803-17430 and 1J897-17430, split by engine serial number, so order the gasket by serial number. Check the two cooler hoses, 1J808-71460 and 1J808-71470, and their clamps, clean the mating faces, then refill, bleed and pressure test the cooling system and clear stored codes.
