This is a new, genuine Kubota solenoid assembly, part number EG551-44720. It is the gasoline shut-off solenoid on the carburetor of Kubota’s small spark-ignited engines. Kubota’s own parts lists show it in the carburetor group of the WG752 gasoline engine and the DF752 and DF972 dual-fuel engines, and as an option part on the WG1005 and DF1005. Kubota’s machine parts lists carry it on the G2460G garden tractor and the ZG332 and ZP330 zero-turn mowers. Genie sells the same solenoid as 58244GT, the fuel shut-off solenoid on the Kubota DF-750 and DF-752 carburetor of its Z-34/22 IC boom.

On a dual-fuel engine the carburetor carries two solenoids. This one is the gasoline solenoid, which Genie’s parts manual calls the bottom solenoid. The LPG solenoid is a different part, EG551-44790. If the solenoid does not open, the engine will not run on gasoline, so check for power at the connector and for fuel at the carburetor before you replace it.
