2004.5-2005 Chevy/GMC 6.6L Duramax LLY Left (Driver) Fuel Rail | Bosch F00R001505 New
Bosch F00R001505 is the new left bank (driver side) high-pressure fuel rail for the 2004.5-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LLY (VIN code 2). It replaces GM 97303659. It fits Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 trucks built with the LLY in the 2004 and 2005 model years.
The rail comes with the pressure relief valve fitted in the end, next to the brass return nipple. It has five threaded high-pressure ports on the side and a threaded line fitting on the other end. Shops replace it when the rail leaks or when the fuel system has been contaminated, so debris does not reach new injectors. The right side rail, which carries the rail pressure sensor, is Bosch F00R001512. GM changed to different rails for 2006, so this one does not fit LBZ or LMM engines.
Confirm Fitment Before You Order
This rail is for 2004.5-2005 LLY trucks only. A 2004 truck can be an LB7 (8th VIN digit 1) or an LLY (8th VIN digit 2), and they take different rails. GM lists every 2006 and newer truck and van under the later rails (Bosch F00RL00129 and F00RL00143), even a 2006 with VIN digit 2, so send us the VIN and the number off your old rail before ordering for a 2006. The pressure relief valve is already in the rail, so there is nothing to move over from the old one. Keep every port covered until its line goes on. If the rail is being changed because of contamination, change both rails and deal with the source, or the debris comes back. Use the GM service procedure and torque values for the line nuts.

Does Bosch F00R001505 come with the pressure relief valve?
Yes. The relief valve is fitted in the end of the rail, beside the brass return nipple. The rail pressure sensor is not on this rail: on the LLY it is on the right side rail, Bosch F00R001512.
Will this rail fit a 2006 or newer Duramax?
No. GM lists this rail (97303659) for the 2004 and 2005 model years only. 2006-2010 trucks use a different pair of rails, Bosch F00RL00129 and F00RL00143.
Which side does it fit, what does it replace, and is it new?
It is the left bank (driver side) rail and it replaces GM 97303659. It is a new Bosch rail, not remanufactured, so there is no core to send back.
How do I know my 2004 truck is an LLY and not an LB7?
Check the 8th digit of the VIN: 2 is the LLY and 1 is the LB7. The LB7 takes a different rail, Bosch F00R001205. Call 530-668-0818 with the VIN and we will check it for you.
