This is the genuine Kubota 1J430-43060. It is the replaceable filter in Kubota’s fuel filter and water separator assembly 1J430-43350. Kubota’s parts lists show it on common-rail D1803-CR, V2403-CR and V3307-CR engines, and Kubota engine dealers list it for the D1803, V2403 and V3307. It catches dirt and water before the fuel reaches the supply pump and injectors.

Kubota changed this filter during production. Earlier engines were built with 1J430-43060 and later engines with 1E786-43060, and Kubota’s parts lists mark the newer filter as the one that can take the place of the older one. This is not the main fuel filter cartridge, which on the D1803-CR and V2403-CR is HH1J0-43172. Match the number on your old filter, or have your engine model and serial number ready.

The water sensor switch in the bottom of the filter is a separate Kubota part, 1J430-43880. Move it to the new filter, then bleed the air out of the fuel system. Drain water from the separator as part of regular service.
