This is the Alliant Power AP63808BD, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the BD code International I530E 8.7L built from 1995 to 1997 at 250 to 300 hp, up to engine serial number 1,084,028. The same injector is used on the Perkins 1300 Series EDi 8.7L of those years. It replaces Navistar 1824741C2, 1824744C94, 1824920C2, 1824931C94 and 2593591C91, and it comes with new seals and the copper chamber gasket.

BD is the first of four injector codes used on the 8.7L HEUI engine. BF and BJ followed on the later I530E, then BN on the 2000 to 2003 DT530 and HT530, each with its own serial number range. Worn injectors show up as hard starting, a miss under load, white smoke on a cold start or a cylinder contribution fault. These injectors are fired by engine oil pressure, so check oil level, oil condition and the high-pressure oil system before you buy a set. The engine takes six injectors.
