Change the engine oil and filter, check that the oil feed and drain are clear, and prime the turbo with clean oil before the first start. Use new gaskets at every joint. The actuator comes fitted to the turbo. Leave it on: an actuator that is taken off has to be fitted again and calibrated with Cummins service software. Clean the charge air cooler and piping if the old turbo passed oil.
