A new Delphi DP200 rotary injection pump, Delphi part number 8924A470W. John Deere lists it as RE509503: a six-cylinder pump for 93 kW (125 hp) at 2500 rpm, 12 V. It fits the John Deere 6068D, the 6.8 liter naturally aspirated six (Delphi application 6068D1). John Deere supplies RE509503 in place of the earlier RE505929 pump (Delphi 8924A220W).

Common reasons to replace a DP200: hard starting, low power or smoke from worn internals, leaks at the seals, or damage from water or dirt in the fuel. This is a new pump, not a rebuild. If you would rather keep your original pump, we rebuild DP200 and DP210 pumps on our own bench. Check the rating and voltage on your pump plate, because the 6068 family uses several different DP200 pumps.

John Deere DP200 pumps are housing timed (a mark on the pump flange lines up with a mark on the engine front plate), not lock timed like Perkins DP200 pumps. Follow the John Deere manual for your engine. Fit a new O-ring on the pump flange, then prime the fuel system and bleed air at the injector lines before start-up. Fit new fuel filters, and clean the tank if the old pump failed from water or dirt. This pump is 12 V; check that your machine’s shutoff circuit is 12 V.
