This is a new, genuine Kubota fuel injector, part number 16032-53902. Kubota calls it a nozzle holder kit (KIT HOLDER,NOZZLE). It is the complete injector, with the holder body, spring, push rod and nozzle assembled and set. It fits the earlier builds of Kubota’s 05 Series indirect-injection diesels: the three-cylinder D905, D1005 and D1105 and the four-cylinder V1305 and V1505. It replaces kit 16032-53900 and the bare injector 16032-53000.

Kubota’s parts books list it on the BX2200D, BX22D and BX23D, the B1700, B2100, B2400 and B2410, the B2710 and B2910, the B7500, B7510, B7610 and B7800, the B21, the ZD28 and the KX41-2. These injectors are replaced for hard starting, smoke, a miss at idle or a poor spray pattern on the pop tester. Kubota changed injectors on the 05 Series during production. This 16032 kit is the first type. Later engines in many of the same tractors take kit 1G065-53902, and the newest take 1G677-53903. Kubota’s parts books split them by engine serial number, so the tractor model alone will not tell you which one you need.

Kubota’s 05 Series workshop manual gives the injection pressure as 13.73 MPa (1,991 psi) if you pop test the old set first. Fit a new copper gasket and heat seal under every injector you remove. Kubota’s numbers for them on these engines are 15841-53622 (gasket) and 19077-53650 (heat seal). Clean the bore and seat, tighten to the torque in the Kubota workshop manual for your engine, bleed the fuel system and check the injection pipes and the overflow pipe for leaks.
