This is a new, genuine Kubota injection pump assembly, part number 1K012-51012. Kubota describes it as the injection pump for the V3300T and V3600T, and Kubota’s own parts lists call for it on the V3300-T-E2B and the V3600-T-E3B, the turbocharged indirect-injection four-cylinders in the V3 Series. It is also the pump on later M8200 and M9000 tractors, which run the V3300-TE and V3300-TIE.

On the tractors the pump changed during production. Kubota’s M9000 parts book lists 1C010-51010 up to engine serial number 3U2804 and 1K012-51012 from engine serial number 3W0001, so the engine serial number decides which pump you need. It is a mechanical pump driven by the engine’s fuel camshaft, not a common-rail pump. Worn plungers show up as hard starting, low power or fuel in the oil. Check for air in the fuel, a plugged filter and tired injectors before you replace the pump.

Do not fit this pump in place of 1C010-51010 without checking the engine serial number first. Kubota’s parts lists show one shim under the pump, 1C010-52110, so replace it if it is damaged. Fit new gaskets on the fuel joint, bleed the fuel system before the first start and check injection timing against the Kubota workshop manual for your engine.
