This is the Garrett 848212-9003S, a variable-geometry turbocharger remanufactured by Garrett. It is the stock replacement for the 6.6L Duramax LGH: the 2011 to 2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500 and 3500 vans, late 2010 vans built with the LGH, and Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks built with the LGH, cab and chassis included. It replaces GM 12640123, 12642130, 12642313 and 12635325 and Garrett 785580-0006 and 800563-0002. A refundable core applies.
The LGH is not the LML. The engines look alike and share the model years, but the turbos are different part numbers. The LGH has L as the 8th digit of the VIN and the LML has 8. Low boost, slow spool, a vane position code or oil in the intake tract are the usual reasons this turbo comes off.

Find out why the old turbo failed before this one goes on. Fit a new oil feed and check the drain, change the engine oil and filter, clean the intake tract and charge air cooler of oil and debris, and prime the turbo with clean oil before first start. Use a new gasket and seal kit: the install kit for this engine is Alliant Power AP0165, a separate part.
