This is the Alliant Power AP63807BC, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the BC code International DT466E built from 1995 to 1997 at 195 to 230 hp, up to engine serial number 1,028,710. It replaces Navistar 1824740C1, 1824743C91, 1824919C2, 1824930C94 and 2593590C91, and it comes with new seals and the copper chamber gasket.
BC is the middle of the three injector codes used on the early DT466E. BB covers 175 and 190 hp, and BA covers 230 hp high torque and 250 hp. A worn HEUI injector shows up as hard starting, a rough idle or miss that a fuel filter does not cure, white smoke when cold or a contribution fault on one cylinder. Check the oil side first: these injectors are fired by engine oil pressure, and dirty oil or low injection control pressure gives the same symptoms. The engine takes six injectors.
