This is the Alliant Power AP63809BE, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the BE code International DT466E built from 1997 to 1999 at 175 to 230 hp, engine serial numbers 1,028,711 through 1,194,038. It replaces Navistar 1829336C1, 1829837C2, 1829838C94, 1829839C93, 1829839C94, 1829926C2 and 2593592C91, and it comes with new seals and the copper chamber gasket.
BE took over from the BB and BC codes at engine serial 1,028,711 and covers the 175 to 230 hp DT466E through 1999. The 250 hp engines of those years use a different injector. A tired HEUI injector gives hard starts, a rough idle, white smoke when cold or a cylinder contribution fault. So do low oil, dirty oil and a weak high-pressure oil system, because engine oil pressure fires these injectors. Check the oil side before you replace a set. The engine takes six injectors.
