This is the Garrett 888143-5001S, a new AVNT3788 variable geometry turbocharger made by Garrett, the original turbo maker for this engine. It is a direct fit on the 2017 to 2019 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke in F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty pickups and replaces Ford HC3Z-6K682-A (Ford engineering number HC3Q-9G438-AC). It also goes on 2015 and 2016 pickups when the pedestal update kit, Alliant Power AP0198, is added. It does not fit cab and chassis trucks, which take Garrett 888142.

Check the oil feed and the oil drain for restriction, change the engine oil and filter, and clean the charge air cooler and pipes of oil and debris before the first start. Fit new gaskets and seals at the turbo.
