Delphi EX631089 is a Delphi remanufactured common-rail fuel injector for the Doosan-built D34 3.4L Tier 4 diesel, which Bobcat sells as its 3.4L engine. It is the remanufactured version of the new Delphi 28347042. It fits Bobcat 700 and 800 frame loaders such as the S740, S750, S770, S850, T740, T750, T770, T870 and A770, and the V519 and V723 VersaHandlers. It replaces Doosan 400903-00043E and Bobcat 7261663, 7334041 and 7516846, including the REM exchange numbers.

Each injector carries its own 20-character C3i trim code. Program it into the engine ECM with a scan tool, then run the injector reset. Skipping this can cause poor running or engine damage. Replace injectors for hard starting, rough idle, misfire, smoke, low power or injector fault codes. The D18 1.8L and D24 2.4L engines use a different injector (new Delphi 28337917, reman EX631088).

Clean the engine bay first so no dirt gets in. Clean carbon out of the injector bore and clean the hold-down bolt threads in the head; oil left in the bolt hole throws off the hold-down torque. Write down each injector’s 20-character C3i trim code and the cylinder it goes in (the code uses the numbers 1 and 0, never the letters I or O). Fit the new sealing washer and O-ring and torque the hold-down bolts to 43 Nm (32 ft-lb); head cover bolts 10 Nm (7 ft-lb). Fit new injection lines, pre-torque both ends to 18 Nm (13 ft-lb), then final torque 30 Nm (22 ft-lb). Program the C3i trim files with a suitable scan tool, then run the injector reset procedure; the engine must run at full throttle for 10 minutes to finish it.
