This is the Alliant Power AP66976, a remanufactured G2.9 fuel injector for the International DT466 7.6L. It is the low horsepower injector, listed for the 2004 model year engine at 210 to 225 hp, engine serial numbers 2,000,001 through 2,999,999. PurePower Technologies remanufactures it for Alliant Power and calls it the 4L injector, 6922-PP. It replaces Navistar 1842576C91 through 1842576C94, 1841491C91, 1842223C91 and 5010656R92.

The 2004 to 2005 DT466 used two G2.9 injectors. The other one, AP66977, is the high horsepower injector, listed for the 2004 high torque ratings and the 2005 engines, and the 2006 engine moved to the BANG injector, AP66989. Each carries its own Navistar number. Alliant Power lists new connectors, spool valve, coil and harness assemblies on every remanufactured G2.9 injector, and this one comes with its chamber gasket fitted and two injector seal rings. G2.9 injectors are fired by high-pressure engine oil, so hard starting, a rough idle or low power can come from low or dirty oil or leaking oil rail seals as easily as from a worn injector. Rule those out first. The engine takes six.

The high-pressure oil rail has to come off to change a G2.9 injector. The injector inlet seals sit on the oil rail and must be replaced before the rail goes back on. Alliant Power kit AP0025 has those seals and backup rings, and it is not in the box with the injector. Use the chamber gasket and seal rings supplied with the injector. These injectors are fired by engine oil, so fresh oil and a new oil filter are good practice.
