2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Left (Driver Side) Fuel Rail | Bosch 0445218017 New
This is the new Bosch high-pressure fuel rail for the left bank (driver side) of the Ford 6.7L Power Stroke V8. It fits 2011 through 2019 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks and replaces Ford BC3Z-9D280-B. Bosch is the original maker of this rail, and the rail is marked with the Bosch number 0 445 218 017. It comes as an assembly: the rail pressure sensor is fitted at one end, and the fuel pressure regulator (pressure control valve) with its return fitting is at the other.
Rails are commonly replaced during a fuel system contamination repair after a high-pressure pump failure, together with the injectors and lines. A left rail is also replaced for a leak, a damaged line seat, or a fault in the rail pressure sensor or regulator, since both of those come on this rail. The left rail is the long one with seven threaded line ports. The right rail is shorter, has five ports and no sensor, and is sold separately as Bosch 0445218015.

This rail only fits the left bank. Keep every port capped until the lines go on and keep dirt out of the system. If the rail is being replaced because the high-pressure pump failed, deal with the rest of the high-pressure side at the same time (right rail, injectors, lines), or leftover debris can damage the new parts. Use the Ford service procedure for line torque and for which lines may be reused, then check for leaks before the truck goes back on the road.
