Program each injector’s IQA code into the PCM for the cylinder it goes in, using Ford’s diagnostic software or a scan tool that can write injector codes. The high-pressure feed line and hold-down bolt are not included. The lines are cylinder-specific and sold in two groups (cylinders 1, 2, 7, 8 and 3, 4, 5, 6). Use a new nozzle washer and O-ring on every injector, keep all fuel openings capped, and start with new fuel filters.
