This is the new Bosch high-pressure fuel rail for the right bank (passenger side) of the Ford 6.7L Power Stroke V8. It fits 2011 through 2019 F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks and replaces Ford BC3Z-9D280-A. Bosch is the original maker of this rail. The factory Ford rail label carries the same Bosch number, 0 445 218 015, next to Ford’s engineering number BC3Q-9D280-AC.

The right rail is a bare rail with five threaded line ports. It has no sensor and no valve. On this engine the rail pressure sensor and the fuel pressure regulator sit on the left rail, which is sold separately as Bosch 0445218017. Rails are commonly replaced as a pair during a fuel system contamination repair after a high-pressure pump failure, together with the injectors and lines.

This rail only fits the right bank. Keep every port capped until the lines go on and keep dirt out of the system. If the rail is being replaced because the high-pressure pump failed, deal with the rest of the high-pressure side at the same time (left rail, injectors, lines), or leftover debris can damage the new parts. Use the Ford service procedure for line torque and for which lines may be reused, then check for leaks before the truck goes back on the road.
