This is the Alliant Power AP63805BA, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the BA code International DT466E built from 1995 to 1997 at 230 hp high torque and 250 hp, up to engine serial number 1,084,867. The same injector is used on the Perkins 1300 Series EDi 7.6L of those years. It replaces Navistar 1819834C1, 1823736C94, 1824917C2, 1824928C94 and 2593588C91, and it comes with new seals and the copper chamber gasket.

The early DT466E ran three injector codes, split by rating: BA for 230 hp high torque and 250 hp, BC for 195 to 230 hp and BB for 175 and 190 hp. BA is the only one of the three that runs past engine serial 1,028,710. Replace injectors for the usual HEUI reasons: hard starting, a miss that a fuel filter does not cure, white smoke when cold or a cylinder contribution fault. These injectors are fired by engine oil pressure, so rule out low oil, dirty oil and a weak high-pressure oil system first. The engine takes six injectors.
