This is the Alliant Power AP63811BI, a new HEUI fuel injector, not a rebuild, for BI code engines: the International DT466 of 2000 to 2003 at 175 to 250 hp and the 1999 DT466E at 250 hp, engine serial numbers 1,125,228 through 1,999,999. The same injector is used on the Perkins 1300 Series EDi 7.6L of 1999 to 2003. It replaces Navistar 1830559C91, 1830560C2, 1830561C92, 1830562C2, 1830740C92, 1830741C92, 2593594C91 and 2593595C91, and it comes with new seals plus both a stainless steel and a copper chamber gasket.
BI came in at engine serial 1,125,228 as the 250 hp injector on the 1999 DT466E. From the 2000 model year it covers the DT466 at 175 to 250 hp through 2003. Hard starting, a miss that does not clear with a new fuel filter, white smoke on a cold start, low power under load or a cylinder contribution fault all point at a tired injector. HEUI injectors are fired by engine oil pressure, so low or dirty oil and a weak high-pressure oil system cause the same complaints. Rule those out before you replace a set. The engine takes six injectors.
