This is the Alliant Power AP90045, an HE300VG variable geometry turbocharger for the Cummins ISB 6.7L, remanufactured by Alliant Power. It is the turbo only: the electronic actuator is not included, so you reuse a good actuator from your old turbo or buy one separately. It replaces Cummins turbocharger kits 6411519, 6411512 and 6411510, and the earlier kit numbers 5604175, 5604178 and 5604180.

The ISB 6.7L has used several HE300VG turbos that look alike and carry different Cummins numbers. This is not the turbo that replaces Cummins 6411490 or 5604188: that one is Alliant Power AP90043, or AP90943 with the actuator. It is listed by Cummins part number for the ISB 6.7L, not for Ram pickups, which carry their own turbo numbers. Match the Cummins number on your old turbo or on the engine parts list before you order, and have the engine serial number ready.

Change the engine oil and filter, check that the oil feed and drain are clear, and prime the turbo with clean oil before the first start. Use new gaskets at every joint. The actuator has to be fitted and calibrated to this turbo with Cummins service software, so plan for a shop with that tool. Clean the charge air cooler and piping if the old turbo passed oil.
