2010-2016 Cummins ISB 6.7 Midrange (Rear Gear) CP3 Injection Pump | Bosch 0986437370 Remanufactured
This is a Bosch remanufactured CP3 high-pressure common-rail pump, Bosch 0986437370. It is the reman version of new Bosch 0445020300 (earlier 0445020113) and matches Cummins 5398557 (earlier 4983416). It fits the 2010-2016 Cummins ISB 6.7 midrange engine used in medium-duty trucks and buses. On this engine the CP3 is driven off the rear gear train.
Do not mix it up with Bosch 0986437334. That pump fits 2007.5-2018 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 trucks (Mopar 68027022AC), where the CP3 is driven from the front of the engine. The midrange pump is a rear-drive build with its own Bosch and Cummins numbers, so the two do not swap. Common reasons to replace a CP3 are low rail pressure codes, hard starting, loss of power, or metal in the fuel filters after water or dirt got into the fuel.

Some sellers call this the ‘cab and chassis’ pump, but Ram 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs use 0986437334. Replace the fuel filters and check fuel supply to the pump before fitting. If the old pump left metal in the filters, clean the tank, lines and rail and check the injectors, or the debris will damage the new pump. Move the drive gear over from the old pump if the replacement comes without one, torque the gear nut to the Cummins spec for your engine, and prime the fuel system before cranking.
