The MBE4000 times and meters fuel with one electronic unit pump per cylinder, so the injector itself is mechanical, with no electrical connector and nothing to code or program. Renew the O-ring and the sealing sleeve between the nozzle holder and the cylinder head (Mercedes lists the sleeve, A9060170860, as a separate part), clean the injector bore, and torque the hold-down and the pressure pipe fitting to the engine maker’s figures. Keep the fuel line connections clean while they are open.
