This is the Bosch 0445120188, a new common-rail fuel injector, not a rebuild, for the 6.7L Cummins in Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 cab and chassis trucks with SCR. Those are the 2011 and 2012 model years, which some catalogs write as 2010.5 to 2012. They were the first Ram cab and chassis trucks with a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank. It replaces Cummins 4994928 and Mopar 68086182AA. Bosch’s remanufactured version of the same injector is 0986435574.
Hard starting, white smoke, a miss or a ticking noise that traces back to one cylinder are the usual reasons an injector gets replaced. Water or dirt in the fuel is the common cause, so fix the fuel problem and change the filters before new injectors go in. Bosch lists three injectors for the 2007.5 to 2012 trucks, each for its own trucks only: this one, the 2007.5 to 2010 cab and chassis injector for trucks without SCR (Bosch 0445120204), and the 2007.5 to 2012 pickup injector (Bosch 0445120193). The engine takes six injectors.

Fit a new connector (feed) tube with every new injector. Bosch lists tube F00RC00647 for this engine, and it is a separate part. Use the new copper sealing washer and O-ring that come with the injector. Change the fuel filters and clean out any water or debris before the first start. If your old or new injector carries a correction code, write it down before the injector goes in and follow the Ram service information for your truck for any code entry step.
