This is a new, genuine Kubota starter motor assembly, part number 15271-63010. It is Kubota’s current number for four older starters: 15271-63013, 15271-63014, 70000-65445 and 70000-65459. If your old starter or your parts book shows one of those numbers, this is the replacement.

Replace a starter when it clicks but will not turn, cranks slowly on a good battery, grinds on engagement, or pulls too much current. Rule out the battery, cables, grounds and the start signal first. Kubota catalogs this starter by part number, so the surest match is the number on your old starter or in your parts book.
